Elaine won Independent Monthly Visitor (Reg 44) of the Year 2026 Award at the Children’s Homes Quality Leadership Conference 2026 in Birmingham.
The recognition described the importance of a compassionate, approachable and professional approach to Regulation 44 visiting, with a focus on thoughtful challenge, safeguarding and keeping children’s voices at the centre of the work.
The conference was a brilliant opportunity to network, connect with inspirational people, share experiences and learn from others across the sector.
The guest speakers were fantastic, with plenty of insight, reflection and ideas to take away and put into practice.
A huge thank you to Children’s Homes Quality for bringing everyone together and creating such a positive and insightful event.
We left with new connections, new ideas, lots to reflect on and even more appreciation for the amazing people working across children’s social care.
